What is in a Pokemon blister pack?

A Pokemon blister holds 1 or 3 booster packs with a foil promo card and a coin: 3 in a Three-Booster Blister, 1 in a checklane blister. It hangs on a peg rather than sitting on a shelf. Sealed, it sells for $6.79 to $37.24 on TCGplayer depending on the set, at market price read October 18, 2026.

One example: the Pitch Black Single Pack Blister [Slowpoke]. Photo TCGplayer's. Every set sells its own, and the artwork changes with the set.

Those counts come from the GameStop and Target listings, read August 15, 2026, and describe current English releases. Blisters have no pokemon.com page, and the two listings disagree on one point: GameStop's three-pack blister names the promo and the coin, Target's names only the packs. How many packs each kind of product holds has every one with its source. They are deliberately not stated per set, because the contents have changed between releases; what we can stand behind for a set is what came out of the ones opened here, counted below.

Which sets we opened these from

Openings and packs counted here, in our own videos, which is the only place these numbers come from. Of the 12 openings above, 4 are tagged with more than one set and are counted under each of them. The column therefore adds up to 16, more than the 12. Each row opens that set's guide.

Prices are TCGplayer market and lowest listing, read October 18, 2026, the same figures the rest of this site quotes. They move. Pack prices works out what that comes to per pack, and what it should cost has the retail figure to measure any of it against. Each photograph is TCGplayer's, and it is that row's own product rather than a stand-in, which is why the art is different in every one of them.
