Giratina cards
Every Giratina card we could find. We hold no price for any of them, so this page names and pictures the printings instead.
- The Renegade Pokemon. Giratina is #487 in the National Pokedex.
- First English card. DP Black Star Promos, May 1, 2007.
- Types. Ghost and Dragon in the video games. A card only ever carries one type, so which one it is printed as depends on the card.
- Generation 4, Sinnoh. Flagged Legendary in the Pokedex.
- Size. 4.5m (14ft 9in) and 750.0kg (1653lb).
- Capture rate 3 of 255. Higher is easier to catch. This is one of the hardest things in the games to catch.

Evolution
Giratina does not evolve
It has no pre-evolution and nothing it becomes, which puts it with the 200 other species in the Pokedex that stand alone. The evolution chart lists every one of them.

Every Giratina printing we could name
All 46 of them, English and Japanese. 44 have a scan and are pictured below. The other 2 we can name but not show. No price on these: we only quote what we can source. Printings whose name we could not translate are left out rather than shown under a name we guessed at.

What beats Giratina
Damage taken by a Ghost / Dragon Pokemon, computed from the type chart. Everything not listed does normal damage.
- x2Ice, Ghost, Dragon, Dark and Fairy
- ½xFire, Water, Electric, Grass, Poison and Bug
- 0xNormal and Fighting, no effect at all
This is the video game chart, not the card game. The Pokemon TCG has eleven types and no type chart at all: Weakness and Resistance are printed on each individual card, and two cards of the same Pokemon can print different ones.
