Does Walgreens sell Pokemon cards?

Yes, in stores. Walgreens has a Trading Cards category of its own with Pokemon in it, and every Pokemon trading card listing there says Price available in store, with shipping and same day delivery both unavailable.

Confirmed on September 30, 2026 by reading it on Walgreens's own website: Read Walgreens's own Toys, Games & Books, Games & Puzzles, Trading Cards category page, which listed five Pokemon trading card products, an elite trainer box among them, each marked Price available in store and Store availability varies. What they stock

The bigger sealed formats too, including elite trainer boxes. An elite trainer box and a Mega battle deck, alongside card packs, a Lightning Set and two catch-all listings named only Pokemon Trading Card Game with the style left open. No booster box or booster bundle appeared.

The sealed formats named on Walgreens's own site when it was read, one photograph of each. The product in a picture is one example of that format and not the one on the shelf in front of you: the artwork changes with every set and the shape does not. What each format is supposed to cost is on the MSRP page.

Where in the shop to look

Walgreens files them under Toys, Games & Books, then Games & Puzzles, then Trading Cards, so the toy and game shelves rather than anywhere near the pharmacy counter.

Where that was read. The breadcrumb on their own category page: Home, Shop, Toys, Games & Books, Games & Puzzles, Trading Cards, at /store/c/trading-cards/ID=20001439-tier3. The Mega battle deck's own product page files it one shelf over, under Games & Puzzles, then Playing Cards.

If the shelf is empty, ask

If you cannot see any, ask anyway. A lot of shops now keep trading cards behind the counter, in a locked case or in the back, and plenty do not put them on the sales floor at all. An empty peg is not the same as no stock, and people walk out of shops that had the thing every day of the week.

The question to ask is specific: do you have any Pokemon cards behind the counter. A staff member who has been asked ten times that morning will answer it in three seconds, and 'do you sell Pokemon cards' gets you pointed at an empty shelf.

What we have read them asking

Every figure below is one listing, of one product, on one day, at an address you can open and check. It is an example of the division rather than a score for the shop, and it will not be current for long. The suggested figures come from the MSRP page, which prices sealed product from Pokemon's own shop.

We hold no price reading from Walgreens, and that is how Walgreens publishes them rather than a gap in the reading. Every Pokemon trading card listing on their site says Price available in store where the price would be, and the product page reads Priced Per Store, while the Pokemon plush and figures on the same brand list carry ordinary online prices. The suggested figures to measure any price against are on the MSRP page.

Getting hold of one

Every Pokemon trading card listing read was marked Store availability varies, with Same Day Delivery and Shipping both unavailable, and the product page that loaded says to visit your store to see if it is available. So this is a walk-in errand, and the category page itself warns that price and inventory may vary from online to in store.

Before you pay for it

Work out the multiple before you hand the money over. What a sealed product is supposed to cost has the suggested figure for every format and a calculator that does the division. If you are buying online instead, where to buy records what each venue costs once shipping and buyer fees are counted, and what recourse you have when something arrives wrong. When the chains are expected to restock is this week's drops.
