Does CVS sell Pokemon cards?

Yes, and CVS says so itself. Their Pokemon page answers the question in as many words: CVS sells a variety of Pokemon products in stores and online.

Confirmed on August 17, 2026 by reading it on CVS's own website: Read the Pokemon brand shop on cvs.com, which carries Pokemon trading card product with prices and a question and answer block whose answer is that CVS sells Pokemon products in stores and online. Open the page on cvs.com

What they stock

Small sealed only, so packs, blisters and tins rather than boxes. On the day it was read that meant a mini tin, a Poke Ball tin with three packs and a coin, and a battle deck. No elite trainer box, booster bundle or booster box appeared. Treat CVS as somewhere you find a tin, not somewhere you find a box.

  • Pokemon - Poke Ball Tin - Poke Ball (Q4 2025), sealed Poke Ball Tin pictured: Pokemon - Poke Ball Tin - Poke Ball (Q4 2025)
The sealed formats CVS listed a price for on their own site, one photograph of each. The product in a picture is one example of that format and not the one on the shelf in front of you: the artwork changes with every set and the shape does not. What each format is supposed to cost is on the MSRP page.

Where in the shop to look

CVS files Pokemon under Household, then Toys & Books, and again under Baby & Kids, then Gifts & Toys, so the toy aisle rather than anywhere near the pharmacy counter.

Where that was read. The category paths CVS's own site puts its Pokemon products under: /shop/household/toys-books/ and /shop/baby-kids/gifts-toys/.

If the shelf is empty, ask

If you cannot see any, ask anyway. A lot of shops now keep trading cards behind the counter, in a locked case or in the back, and plenty do not put them on the sales floor at all. An empty peg is not the same as no stock, and people walk out of shops that had the thing every day of the week.

The question to ask is specific: do you have any Pokemon cards behind the counter. A staff member who has been asked ten times that morning will answer it in three seconds, and 'do you sell Pokemon cards' gets you pointed at an empty shelf.

What we have read them asking

Every figure below is one listing, of one product, on one day, at an address you can open and check. It is an example of the division rather than a score for the shop, and it will not be current for long. The suggested figures come from the MSRP page, which prices sealed product from Pokemon's own shop.

Sold by the shop itself: cvs.com sells its own stock and runs no marketplace, and the listing names no other seller. Every figure below was read on the CVS Pokemon brand shop, which lists the price against the product, one listing at a time.

  • Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Mini Tin, Assorted Designs. $12.99 asked against a suggested $9.99 for the Mini tin, so 12.99 ÷ 9.99 = 1.3. Read August 17, 2026. Open the listing on cvs.com
  • Pokemon Poke Ball Tin with 3 Trading Card Packs & Coin, Blind Capsule. $21.79 asked against a suggested $14.99 for the Poke Ball Tin, so 21.79 ÷ 14.99 = 1.45. Read August 17, 2026. Open the listing on cvs.com
  • Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Mini Tin, Assorted Designs 1.3x $9.99 suggested $12.99 asked
  • Pokemon Poke Ball Tin with 3 Trading Card Packs & Coin, Blind Capsule 1.45x $14.99 suggested $21.79 asked
The pair, drawn against one scale. The dark bar is what was being asked on the day and the light one is what Pokemon's own shop asks for the same kind of product. These are readings on one afternoon rather than what this shop charges, and the multiple beside each name is the sum done for you: check the price in front of you and do it again.

Getting hold of one

CVS prints a warning on its own Pokemon page that is worth carrying to the register: prices may vary from online to in store. The figures below are the online ones.

Before you pay for it

Work out the multiple before you hand the money over. What a sealed product is supposed to cost has the suggested figure for every format and a calculator that does the division. If you are buying online instead, where to buy records what each venue costs once shipping and buyer fees are counted, and what recourse you have when something arrives wrong. When the chains are expected to restock is this week's drops.

The Pokemon trading card products and their prices, the 'Does CVS Carry Pokemon Products' answer, and the 'Prices may vary from online to in store' line, read August 17, 2026.
