Does Meijer sell Pokemon cards?
Yes, in stores only. Meijer has a Trading Cards department of its own, and every Pokemon row on it was marked In Store Only when it was read.
Confirmed on August 17, 2026 by reading it on Meijer's own website: Read Meijer's own Toys, Trading Cards department page, which listed current sealed Pokemon product with prices, pickup times and an In Store Only marker on every Pokemon row. Open the page on meijer.com
What they stock
The bigger sealed formats too, so elite trainer boxes and booster boxes. A wide range for a supermarket: elite trainer boxes, ex boxes, ultra premium collections, Poke Ball tins, blisters and card envelopes, alongside sports card boxes in the same department.

Where in the shop to look
Meijer files them under Toys, then Trading Cards & Collectibles, so the toy department rather than the magazine run at the front.
Where that was read. The department path on their own site: /shopping/departments/toys/trading-cards.html and /shopping/departments/toys/trading-cards-collectibles.html.
If the shelf is empty, ask
If you cannot see any, ask anyway. A lot of shops now keep trading cards behind the counter, in a locked case or in the back, and plenty do not put them on the sales floor at all. An empty peg is not the same as no stock, and people walk out of shops that had the thing every day of the week.
The question to ask is specific: do you have any Pokemon cards behind the counter. A staff member who has been asked ten times that morning will answer it in three seconds, and 'do you sell Pokemon cards' gets you pointed at an empty shelf.
What we have read them asking
Every figure below is one listing, of one product, on one day, at an address you can open and check. It is an example of the division rather than a score for the shop, and it will not be current for long. The suggested figures come from the MSRP page, which prices sealed product from Pokemon's own shop.
Sold by the shop itself: meijer.com sells its own stock and runs no marketplace, and the row is marked In Store Only at a Meijer store. Every figure below was read on Meijer's own Toys, Trading Cards department page, which lists the price against the product, one listing at a time.
- 2025 Pokemon Trading Card Games Poke Ball Tins. $19.99 asked against a suggested $14.99 for the Poke Ball Tin, so 19.99 ÷ 14.99 = 1.33. Read August 17, 2026. Open the listing on meijer.com
- Pokemon Trading Card Games Mega Kangaskhan Ex Box. $26.99 asked against a suggested $21.99 for the ex Box, so 26.99 ÷ 21.99 = 1.23. Read August 17, 2026. Open the listing on meijer.com
- 2025 Pokemon Trading Card Games Poke Ball Tins 1.33x $14.99 suggested $19.99 asked
- Pokemon Trading Card Games Mega Kangaskhan Ex Box 1.23x $21.99 suggested $26.99 asked
Getting hold of one
Every Pokemon row read was marked In Store Only with pickup available within three hours, so Meijer will hold one for you but will not ship it.
Before you pay for it
Work out the multiple before you hand the money over. What a sealed product is supposed to cost has the suggested figure for every format and a calculator that does the division. If you are buying online instead, where to buy records what each venue costs once shipping and buyer fees are counted, and what recourse you have when something arrives wrong. When the chains are expected to restock is this week's drops.
The Pokemon products and their prices, the In Store Only marker on every one, and the pickup within three hours line, read August 17, 2026.
