Walmart files Pokemon cards under Toys, so the toy department, and its own category names for them are Pokemon trading cards and Pokemon booster boxes. Some supercenters also keep a card fixture near electronics or at a checkout lane, which nobody publishes and which is exactly what to ask about.

If the shelf is empty, ask
If you cannot see any, ask anyway. A lot of shops now keep trading cards behind the counter, in a locked case or in the back, and plenty do not put them on the sales floor at all. An empty peg is not the same as no stock, and people walk out of shops that had the thing every day of the week.
The question to ask is specific: do you have any Pokemon cards behind the counter. A staff member who has been asked ten times that morning will answer it in three seconds, and 'do you sell Pokemon cards' gets you pointed at an empty shelf.

Walmart Marketplace listings sit in the same results as Walmart's own stock, and on this search they dominated it: elite trainer boxes at $73.82, $118.99, $167.69 and $249.98 against a suggested $49.99. The listing opened to check carried a seller rating with 1,436 seller reviews, which is a marketplace seller rather than Walmart. Walmart's own stock is the one that sits near the suggested price, and it sells out.
A price on target.com, walmart.com, bestbuy.com or amazon.com is not automatically that chain's price. All four are a shop and a marketplace at the same time: some listings are stock the chain owns, and some are independent sellers using the chain's website as a storefront and setting whatever price they like. Getting hold of one

Before you pay for it
Work out the multiple before you hand the money over. What a sealed product is supposed to cost has the suggested figure for every format and a calculator that does the division.
